Intern with PROP.

Responsibilities:

  • Court monitoring

  • Report writing/editing/design

  • Comms – social media management (IG, TikTok, etc)

  • Event planning and organizing

  • Community Outreach

All PROP interns are expected to participate in weekly meetings (currently every Thursday at 4PM EST via Zoom) and partake in one of the activities listed above. We are also very open to other potential activities that are intern-initiated as long as they align with PROP's core mission. Since PROP is a largely volunteer-based organization interns have the opportunity to get involved in meaningful and engaging work every day during their time with us.

The total commitment for PROP interns is to dedicate at least five (5) hours per week, which includes the one-hour weekly meeting. Interns may commit more than that if they wish.
PROP internships are not paid but some costs (i.e. printing, and other activities necessary to complete PROP work) can be reimbursed with approval from the director or project coordinator.

If you are interested in joining our team, please email our director Robert Gangi at prop@policereformorganizingproject.org and include:

  • a resume

  • a cover letter

  • a writing sample
