The Panel Discussion:
PROP is excited to announce our 8th public panel discussion: Broken Windows Policing: A True Tail of Two Cities, on Thursday, July 31st at 6:00pm. Panelists will debate whether NYPD practices have changed for better, worse, or at all, under the new leadership of Mayor de Blasio and Commissioner Bratton. The discussion will focus on this Administration’s ‘broken windows’ policing and the effect of this approach on different neighborhoods across our city. The event will be held at The Ethical Cultural Society (2 W 64th St).

On Sunday, August 2nd from 1 to 5 PM, PROP volunteers will travel to different locations in the city to carry out our ongoing petition drive to show policymakers and the press, that the support for sweeping NYPD reforms is diverse and widespread. Signatures collected during our Petition Day will be added to the list of nearly 17,000 people who have signed their support.
