Our petition drive on Sunday, July 22 was a huge success – PROP volunteers covered all 5 boroughs and gathered over 1,500 signatures! We are now half-way to our goal of collecting 25,000 signatures, closer and closer to our ultimate aim of presenting these signatures to policy makers and the press to demonstrate the city-wide support for sweeping NYPD reforms. By organizing together, all of us can effectively address and correct current abusive police practices and help create a safer, more inclusive city for all New Yorkers.
